Work, home, social life, money, mobility, and health now run increasingly more on devices and applications — and the dependency deepens every year. Underneath, each surface still charges a toll in hours.

Each tool arrives with its own grammar, flags, menus, and failure modes. Hours spent climbing a curve.

You memorize commands instead of expressing intent. Input is easy to get subtly wrong; output is noisy to read. Recall grows with every device and decays with every week unused.

The gap between what a person's devices can do and what they can actually get them to do is not capability — the capability shipped. The only bridge today is overhead paid for in person.

Overhead is non-transferable and capability is bounded. Sessions do not span phone, laptop, browser, watch. Dotfiles and aliases stay opaque fragments — so the next person pays from zero. Capability is expensive to acquire, then hoarded.
